Spring 2016 (Junior): Triplett participated in two of the team’s five spring events, finishing six rounds of actions… fired a season-low 80-81-81=242 at the EKU Colonel Classic (Apr. 1-2)… also fired a season-best single round of 80 at the same event… completed the year with a scoring average of 83.75.
Fall 2015 (Junior): Triplett played in two of the six fall events, tallying six rounds of play… posted season-low round of 81 in the second round at both the GolfWeek Program Challenge (Sept. 6-8) and the Blue Raider Invitational (Oct. 19-20)… shot a season-best 83-81-84=248 at the GolfWeek Program Challenge… wrapped up the fall with an 82.83 scoring average.
Spring 2015 (Sophomore): Triplett competed in five of six spring tournaments, totaling 12 rounds of action… carded a season-low 18-hole score of 77 in both the first and third rounds of the OVC Championships (Apr. 20-22)… completed the year with a scoring average of 82.42.
Fall 2014 (Sophomore): Triplett participated in all five fall events for Tech, compiling 14 rounds of play… tallied a season-low 79-79-85=243 at the Jan Weaver-Murray State Invitational (Sept. 8-9)… recorded a low-18 round of 78 at the Blue Raider Invitational (Oct. 20-21), finishing at 84-78-82=244… finished the fall with an 81.43 stroke average.
Spring 2014 (Freshman): Triplett played in every Golden Eagle spring tournament and earned two top 20 finishes… carded 81-87=168 at the Bison Invitational for 12th place and helped Tech to a third place finish… honored with a share of the Impact Award and named the Best Putter by Coach Brown… ended the year with a 81.43 stroke average.
Fall 2013 (Freshman): Triplett started every event for the Golden Eagles in the fall… carded her career-low round of 71 and tied for ninth place at the CSU Wendy’s Invitational (Oct. 7-8)… earned another top-20 finish at MSU Drake Creek Invitational (Sept. 9-10) with 75-79-82=236… finished the fall with a stroke average of 78.54.
High School: Triplett lettered four years in golf for Jason Adam and four years in softball for her father, Bill Triplett, while at Polk County High School… competed in the TSSAA Class A-AA State Tournament her freshman, junior, and senior seasons… placed sixth at the TSSAA Class A-AA State Tournament as a junior, garnering all-state honors along the way… was a district runner-up or medalist in 2009, 2010, and 2011… named a Chattanooga Times-Free Press Best of Preps selection in 2012… won the Early Bird Cookeville Invitational Tournament in the fall of 2012… took home first place in the second flight of the TGA Women’s State Amateur in the summer of 2012… helped lead her softball team to three consecutive district championships in 2009, 2010, and 2011… named all-state softball player while at PCHS… was captain of the golf team and co-captain of the softball team as a senior… named as a Wildcat scholar.
