Abdukhailikov advances to second round of ITA All-American Championships
Junior Syrym Abdukhailikov earned his third victory of the fall season in the opening round of the ITA All-American Championships Monday
TULSA, Okla. --- Junior Syrym Abdukhailikov earned his third victory of the fall season in the opening round of the ITA All-American Championships Monday.
Abdukhailikov defeated Georgia’s Nathan Pasha in a competitive, two-set affair by the scores of 6-3 and 7-6(4).
Abdukhailikov will take on Maryland’s Maros Horny Tuesday, in the second round.
In doubles action, Abdukailikov and his teammate, senior Alex Chen, received a bye in the opening round and will now take on the Texas pairing of Soren Hess-Olesen and David Holiner Tuesday.
