2023-24 (Junior – Northern Colorado): Cameron competed in 13 of Northern Colorado’s 33 contests on the year, averaging 6.2 minutes per game… averaged 1.6 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game… shot 27.8 percent from distance and 80.0 percent from the charity stripe… made his debut with the Bears with 14 minutes off the bench against Colorado College (Nov. 6), recording season-highs of seven points, two rebounds, and two assists… scored five points with a pair of free throws and a triple in five minutes off the bench against Portland State (Jan. 20)… dished out two assists while playing a season-high 19 minutes off the bench versus Cleveland State (Mar. 24) in the first round of the CIT Tournament.

High School: Cameron lettered at Eagles Landing Christian Academy in McDonough, Ga. for head coach Derrick Mason… led ELCA to a pair of region titles and a runner-up showing at the state championship game… averaged 21 points, six rebounds, and two assists per game as a senior… during his senior campaign, earned 1A All-State First Team, All-Region First Team, and Offensive Player of the Year honors… for his career, averaged 15 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one steal per game.

Personal: Son of Jabreka and Mike Cameron… born in Seattle, Wash. on July 24, 2001… father, Mike, was a 2001 MLB All-Star for the Seattle Mariners, a three-time Gold Glove Award winner, and 16-year MLB veteran, playing for eight Major League teams… older brother, Daz, was the 2015 Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year in baseball, was selected 37th overall in the 2015 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros, and currently plays for Major League Baseball’s (formerly Oakland) Athletics… older sister, T’Aja, competed in track & field as a sprinter at Ole Miss from 2018-19.

Purple and gold open 2024-25 men's hoops season at Georgia

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team officially kicks off the 2024-25 regular season with a trip to Athens, Ga. Monday evening, squaring off with the Georgia Bulldogs in a 6:30 p.m. CT tilt at Stegeman Coliseum.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The offense was flowing in full force and the defense did its job for the Tennessee Tech men’s basketball team Tuesday evening, as the Golden Eagles cruised to a 100-56 victory over Oakland City in exhibition action in the Hooper Eblen Center as part of Purple Palooza.
