Home game times released for 2021-22 Tech men's basketball team
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team officially released its start times for all home contests during the 2021-22 campaign Wednesday morning. The Golden Eagles are set to embark on their third season under the direction of head coach John Pelphrey, welcoming seven newcomers, including five Division I transfers, to a group of 10 returners.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team officially released its start times for all home contests during the 2021-22 campaign Wednesday morning. The Golden Eagles are set to embark on their third season under the direction of head coach John Pelphrey, welcoming seven newcomers, including five Division I transfers, to a group of 10 returners.
The purple and gold will provide its first glimpse of the year for fans in a 7:30 p.m. CT exhibition tilt with Berea on Thursday, Oct. 28 as part of Purple Palooza. Tech's home opener features a 4:00 p.m. match-up against Oakwood on Sunday, Nov. 14.
Each of Tech's next three home contests will begin at 6:00 p.m., including games against Lipscomb (Nov. 23), Chattanooga (Nov. 30), and Troy (Dec. 11). Rounding out the non-conference slate in the Hooper Eblen Center is a 3:00 p.m. affair with Kentucky Christian on Thursday, Dec. 16.
Eight of the Golden Eagles' nine Ohio Valley Conference battles in the Hoop are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tips, including match-ups with Morehead State (Jan. 6), SIUE (Jan. 20), Murray State (Jan. 27), Austin Peay (Jan. 29), Belmont (Feb. 5), Southeast Missouri (Feb. 17), Tennessee State (Feb. 24), and UT Martin (Feb. 26).
Tech's Saturday, Jan. 8 meeting with Eastern Illinois is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
