2018-19 (R-Freshman): Vick started all 31 contests in his first season in the purple and gold, averaging a team-high 33.0 minutes per game which also led all freshman in the OVC… averaged 11.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, ranking second on the squad in scoring… knocked down a Tech freshman record 54 triples on 136 attempts, leading the team with a 39.7 percent mark from downtown… ranked second on the team with an 83.1 percent showing from the charity stripe… totaled 64 assists to rank second on the squad and finished fourth on the team with 31 steals… blocked an astounding 20 shots as a guard, the third-most on the squad… scored 10 points, six rebounds and three assists in his collegiate debut in the season opener at Memphis (Nov. 6)… posted a season-high 22 points once at Savannah State (Nov. 13), becoming the first Tech freshman to score at least 20 points in a contest since Chase Dunn in 2011… also snagged 22 points against Savannah State in the Eblen Center (Dec. 20)… corralled a season-best eight rebounds against Jacksonville State (Feb. 14)… blocked three shots against Presbyterian (Nov. 10) and against Morehead State (Feb. 23)… knocked down a season-best five 3-pointers on six tries at UT Martin (Feb. 9)… joined fellow rookies Jr. Clay and Jared Sherfield to represent the program’s first freshman class to have three players with 20 points in at least one game… tallied 20+ points in five games… joined fellow freshman Jr. Clay as the first pair of Golden Eagle rookies to average double figures since 1978-79… scored in double figures 16 times… one of just 15 freshman, including teammate Jr. Clay, to post multiple 20-point outings in a single season… sank 28 consecutive free throws on during the season to rank third in program history, missing the school-record of 30 held by Jud Dillard by just two… hit at least one 3-pointer in 24 games and drained multiple triples 15 times… led the team in 3-pointers a team-high 13 times… sank 12-of-15 free-throw attempts in the final four minutes and overtime of games on the year.

2017-18 (Freshman): Vick sat out the 2017-18 season as a redshirt due to injury.

High School: Vick was a four-year letterwinner at Camden Central High School… took home All-State honors as a junior and senior, as well as District 11-AA MVP honors both seasons… earned All-District honors four times while leading CCHS to three straight district titles… named to the All-West Tennessee First Team as a senior and All-West Tennessee Second Team as a junior… collected Region 6-AA MVP accolades as a senior while being named to the 6-AA All-Region Team for the fourth straight year… also was named Region 6-AA Newcomer of the Year as a freshman… finished career with 2,160 points and over 300 made 3-pointers on 42 percent shooting… averaged 23.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists as a senior… also averaged 26.9 points 8.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 3.0 steals as a junior.

Personal: Son of Tracy and Stephen Vick… born October 23, 1998… full name is Hunter Lee Vick… father, Stephen, played basketball at Union University while former Tech head coach Steve Payne was an assistant coach.

Academic: Majoring in basic business… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice and the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's basketball team rounds out its 2019-20 regular season with the most important contest of the year Saturday evening, a match-up at Jacksonville State with a berth into the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament hanging in the balance. Simply put, if the Golden Eagles defeat the Gamecocks in the 7:00 p.m. CT tilt, they will earn a trip to Evansville, Ind. and the league's postseason event next week. A loss will end the postseason hopes of Tech and first-year head coach John Pelphrey.
