2013-14 (Junior): McKay started every game he played, appearing in 32 of Tech’s 33 contests in 2013-14… tallied a season-high 13 points against Belmont (Feb. 1)… led the team in rebounds against Eastern Illinois (Jan. 9) with six and Morehead State (Feb. 15) with five… snagged at least one rebound in every game he played, averaging 3.1 per game… dished out a career-high seven assists in a 93-81 victory at UT Martin (Feb. 20)… made three blocks against Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 13) to establish a new career-high… led Tech in blocked shots seven times… racked up 26 steals on the year, leading the Golden Eagles nine times… averaged over 20 minutes per game with 675 minutes on the year… had four perfect games from the 3-point line, including victories over Tennessee State (Jan. 2) and Jacksonville State (Feb. 22)… ranked third on the team with a free throw percentage of 77.9… averaged 5.4 points per game with a field-goal percentage of 44.6 to finish fourth on the team.

2012-13 (Sophomore): McKay started 27 games while playing in all 29… finished third on the team in free-throw percentage, shooting 73.9 percent from the charity stripe… pulled down 3.3 rebounds per game, ranking fifth on the squad… averaged 20.7 minutes per game, the fourth most for Tech… scored 3.6 points per contest… scored in double-digits three times in the year, including games against Jacksonville State (Feb. 9) and UT Martin (Feb. 21)… recorded his first career double-double against Crowley’s Ridge (Nov. 10) after scoring a season-high 13 points and ripping down a career-best 11 boards… went a perfect eight-for-eight from the free throw line at Morehead State (Feb. 16)… played a career-high 35 minutes at Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 14)… dished out a season-best four assists at Belmont (Feb. 2)… blocked a season-high two shots in two games and made a season-best three steals in two contests.

2011-12 (R-Freshman): McKay played in 30 games, making one start and averaging 7.3 minutes per game… averaged 2.5 points and rebounds per contest… compiled an average of 0.4 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0.1 blocks per game… racked up three games of double-digit points, including a season-high 15 against Jacksonville State (Jan. 19) and again versus SIUE (Jan. 30)… totaled a season-best two steals at Miami (Nov. 11), versus Jacksonville State (Jan. 19), and versus Murray State (Mar. 2)… pulled down a season-high five rebounds against SIUE (Jan. 30) and versus Murray State (Mar. 2)… finished with a season-best 20 minutes played and five assists against Reinhardt (Nov. 15)... blocked a season-high two shots at Jacksonville State (Feb. 4).

High School: McKay earned four varsity letters at Dunwoody High School in Dunwoody, Georgia, under Scott Bracco and Adam Griffin… averaged 17.4 points, 11.2 rebounds, and two assists per game as a senior while leading DHS to a 21-4 record… honored as a McDonald’s All-American nominee… participated in the GACA All-Star Game… named to the DeKalb County All-Star team… was a DeKalb County Player of the Month and Player of the Year… named his team’s Most Outstanding Player and Most Improved Player... helped fuel his team to two regional championships and appearances in the elite eight and final four during his freshman and sophomore campaigns.
