Golden Eagle football game at Murray State to be aired in ASN package
The Tennessee Tech football team has added another contest picked up for national coverage. The American Sports Network has tabbed the Golden Eagle game at Murray State on Sept. 26 among it's six-game package of OVC games.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Already scheduled for two games to be aired by ESPN3, the Tennessee Tech football team has added another contest picked up for national coverage. The American Sports Network has tabbed the Golden Eagle game at Murray State on Saturday, Sept. 26, among it's six-game package of OVC games.
The OVC announced that six league games will be broadcast by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. on the American Sports Network (ASN).
The American Sports Network is an initiative of the Sinclair Networks Group, LLC, owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., which owns and operates programs and provides sales services to 162 television stations in 79 markets, reaching approximately 37.5 percent of U.S. television households. It includes FOX, ABC, CBS, MyTV, CW, NBC, Univision and Azteca affiliates.
The first two matchups include Tennessee Tech at Murray State (Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. CT) and Murray State at Southeast Missouri (Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. CT).
The final four games will be announced over the next two days via OVC social media outlets as well as OVCSports.com. Two games will be announced each day via the league's Twitter (www.Twitter.com/OVCSports) and Facebook (www.Facebook.com/OVCSports).
The exact stations each of the games will air will be announced at a later date.
The announcement of six Conference games on ASN follows the previous announcement of eight Conference contests on ESPN3 in addition to 30 games that can be seen on the OVC Digital Network, the league’s web streaming initiative.
