A talented player who doesn't shy away from contact, Isaiah is using his two-way skills by making the move from starting fullback to rover where he is expected to see penty of playing time...moved from runningback to rover during spring drills...spent some time at strong safety before settling into rover...played defensive back in high school, so he's familiar with that side of scrimmage...still working at learning Tech's system...improving his reads and keys...can deliver a hit...didn't play as fast as he's capable of during spring drills while learning the system...once he develops a better knowledge of the system, can become a fast and effective weapon...following a redshirt season in 2012, Isaiah added outstanding athletic skills to the running back position in 2013...big, strong and powerful player...unselfish team player who is willing to help in any capacity, as exhibited by his position change.

AT TECH (IN 2014): Played in all 12 games and moved into a starting role over the final seven games of the year at fullback...became the primary protector of the quarterback when all of the team's tight ends were injured, so his carries dwindled...finished the year with 43 carries for 140 yards with one touchdown...also an effective receiver, grabbing eight catches for 39 yards...career-best game came in the season finale when he had eight carries for 40 yards with a touchdown...top game as a receiver included two catches for 27 yards at Jacksonville State...also two catches in win over Eastern Kentucky.

(IN 2013): Isaiah played in 11 games his redshirt freshman year including a start against Eastern Illinois...his career-high rushing game was the season opener against Cumberland with 47 yards on seven carries including his first career touchdown...had career-high eight attempts against Eastern Illinois, and also caught three passes against the No. 2 Panthers...finished the season with 94 rushing yards on 21 tries with one touchdown.

(IN 2012): Sat out the year as a redshirt member of the squad.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-sport athlete at Morristown West High School, McKinney played baseball, basketball, and football...all-conference running back and defensive back...rushed over 500 yards as a senior...helped lead his team to a 10-1 record and a conference championship.
