Bio
Ty is perhaps the best runner among Tech's quarterbacks...an extremely athletic quarterback...played QW in his first season on the roster, and made the move to quarterback following the season...can really sling the ball...still learning the Golden Eagle system...worked hard to make the transistion to QB during the spring and made great improvement...showed potential to become a special player...heads into fall camp listed third on the depth chart, but could surprise.
AT TECH (IN 2014): Ty spent his first season in Purple & Gold as a redshirt and worked with the scout teams while learning the system...was a QW in 2014, and made the move to QB in the spring.
HIGH SCHOOL: A versatile athlete who was a four-year starter and standout for coach Gavin Webster at Watertown High School... four-time first-team all-region selection... set school records as a quarterback for passing yards, touchdowns and total offense... threw for 5,266 yards and 71 touchdowns... accounted for 6,856 yards of total offense... his team made the playoffs his sophomore and junior year...two-sport athlete who poured through more than 1,000 points in his basketball career and played all four years... his team won the district tournament his sophomore year and made it to the state playoffs his junior year...also had appearances in regional tournament his freshman and senior year...Honor Student with a solid 3.4 GPA.
