A skilled receiver with the potential to line up at any of Tech's wideout positions...good speed and quickness...after earning all-state honorable mention as a junior, Colton earned Class 4A all-state as a senior while playing several positions...named as a West AL All-Star the past two seasons, as well as earned all-WAC honors both years...team captain as a senior, he was chosen Most Valuable Player and was an Iron Man Nominee...in his final high school season, Colton had 48 catches for 886 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 18.5 yards per reception...also rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns, averaged 25.6 yards per punt return with three touchdowns, and 24.2 yards on kickoff returns with another TD...on defense, he had three interceptions and two fumble recoveries, and scored one touchdown...earned a two-star rating by Rivals.com...versatile athlete, he also lettered in track & field and basketball.
