Blake was named first-team All-Dekalb County in 2007 and 2008 while starring for Dunwoody High School, and was voted the team MVP as a senior...won the Outstanding Linebacker Award as a junior and senior, and was a team captain in the Dekalb County All-Star Game...an Atlanta Journal-Constitution Player of the Week, he was voted CSS second-team all-state as a senior when he made 118 tackles, 40 assists, five tackles-for-loss, one quarterback sack and one fumble recovery which he returned for a touchdown...one of two signees from Dunwoody School, joining linebacker teammate Jerry King...in addition to three letters on the gridiron, he also lettered three times in shot put with the track & field team.
