2023 (Junior): Ford played in 51 of the team’s 55 games, making 47 starts, including 20 in left field, 19 as the designated hitter, seven in right field, and one at first base… finished second on the squad among qualified bats with a .312 average and 59 hits… posted an on-base percentage of .372, a .439 slugging percentage, 23 runs, six doubles, six home runs, 25 RBI, and 16 walks… made his Golden Eagles debut as a pinch hitter against Bowling Green (Feb. 18), finishing 1-for-2 with a run scored and a walk… tallied a season-high four hits with two RBI and his first long ball at Tech in the first game of a doubleheader against North Alabama (Mar. 11)… drove in a season-best three runs as part of a 3-for-5 day with two runs scored against UT Martin (Apr. 21)… crushed two bombs for his first career multi-home run game while finishing 3-for-5 at Eastern Illinois (Apr. 30)… ranked second on the team with 16 multi-hit games, and tied for the team lead with five games of three or more hits… one of five Tech batters to string together a double-digit hitting streak, racking up hits in 10 straight contests.

2020 (Freshman – Columbia State CC): Ford did not participate for Columbia State during 2020 before the remainder of the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

High School: Ford was a three-sport athlete at Harding Academy in Memphis, Tenn., earning four letters in baseball as a utility player and pitcher for head coach Al Stevens, three letters in golf for head coach Josh Stevens, and one letter in football as a safety and wide receiver for head coach Johnny Allen… hit .519 with 15 doubles, three triples, and one home run while slugging .807 as a senior… as a junior, batted .274 with 10 doubles and five long balls… racked up a .379 average and .469 on-base percentage with 72 hits, 52 RBI, six dingers, 25 doubles, and three triples in his varsity career… earned All-State honors as a senior after breaking Harding’s single-season batting average record that had stood since 1982… also earned All-District and All-Region honors… led Harding to a Region title in 2016.
