Tech to host West Virginia in two-game, midweek series

Tennessee Tech Baseball Midweek Preview (3/12)

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech baseball team stays in the comfort of the Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex during the midweek, playing host to West Virginia in a pair of non-conference match-ups on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Golden Eagles will square off against the Mountaineers at 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday before rounding out the series with a 1 p.m. tilt on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagle offense is off to a record-setting pace in 2018, leading the nation in batting average (.369), doubles per game (3.43), hits (199), home runs (37), home runs per game (2.64), on base percentage (.458), slugging percentage (.685) and scoring (12.4). Tech also ranks second nationally in both doubles (48) and runs (174).
