Ethan is a young runner with potential that comes to the Golden Eagle squad from Oak Ridge, Tenn...after helping his high school to several state titles, he is looking to make an impact on the collegiate level at Tech...also played soccer in his prep career.

AT TECH - (In 2008): Ethan ran in all six meets that the Golden Eagle squad participated in during the cross country season...clocked in his best time at Evansville with a finish of 28:17.62.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ethan McGroom comes to the Golden Eagles after a May graduation from Oak Ridge High School. He lettered four times in cross country, three in track and once in soccer. He was part of four regional championships and three TSSAA state titles.

PERSONAL: Ethan is he son of Stan and Sam McGroom...full name is Ethan Andrew McGroom...birthday is February 4, 1990...majoring in web design.
