Palmer is a freshman Golden Eagle runner from Mount
Juliet...brings a strong ability to compete into his college
career...also a stellar achiever in the classroom.
HIGH SCHOOL: Palmer competed during his prep career at Mount
Juliet High School...shattered a couple of school records while
there, including clocking in at 4:39 in the 1600m and at 17:22 in
the 5000m...achieved strong marks in academics, and was awarded for
his efforts by being named to the Top Ten Percentile High
Honors.
PERSONAL: Palmer is the son of Marvin Maphet...born on August 2,
1990...full name is Palmer Laine Maphet...enrolled in mechanical
engineering.
