Cross country teams host meet Friday at Southern Hills
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech's men's and women's
cross country teams will return to action Friday by hosting the TTU
Invitational at Southern Hills Golf Course in Cookeville. The meet
is set to get underway at 3 p.m. with the women's 5K event,
followed by the men's 8K race at 3:45 p.m.
Tech's runner have had two weeks to prepare for the event, after
running most recently at the Vanderbilt Invitational on Sept.
20.
A field of eight men's and eight women's teams is expected to run
Friday, with the host Golden Eagles joined by squads from
Montavallo (Ala.), North Alabama, Reinhardt College, Maryville,
Milligan, Tennessee State and Evansville.

TTUsports.com, the official Tech athletics website.
