2021 (Freshman): Long took part in three of Tech's six races during the fall… made her debut with a season-best time of 20:21.8 in the 5K at the Commodore Classic (Sept. 17)… turned in a time of 20:23.7 to just miss her PR in the 5K at the OVC Championships (Oct. 30).
High School: Long competed in cross country and track & field at Cookeville High School for coaches Bill Wrasman and Jeana Piggott… helped set CHS' team record in the distance medley relay, posting a time of 13:14.98 as a sophomore… placed fourth for the Cavaliers at the TSSAA State Cross Country Championship with a 5K time of 22:09.87.
