2019 (Sophomore): Appeared in 29 matches and played 109 sets at middle blocker... earned All-OVC Second Team honors... named to Chattanooga Classic All-Tournament Team... ranked first on the team in blocks (121) and blocks per set (1.11)... ranked second on the team in kills (307), kills per set (2.82), total attempts (717), and points (387)... notched her first career double-double in a 13 kill, 11 block effort against Belmont (Nov. 16)... posted 18 games with double-digit kills... put up 4 matches with at least 15 kills... produced 10 matches with at least five blocks... recorded a career-high 20 kills against Middle Tennessee (Sept. 21)... produced a career-high 11 blocks, two solo and nine block assists, against Belmont (Nov. 16)... tallied a career-high .600 hitting percentage against Jacksonville State (Sept. 25).
2018 (Freshman): Appeared in 29 of 30 matches, playing 104 sets… was second among the Golden Eagles with a .223 hitting percentage, and second in both blocks (78) and blocks per set (0.75)… registered 188 kills on the year and 1.81 kills per set, which ranked fourth and fifth on the team, respectively… went for a career-high 14 kills with a .478 hitting percentage against Chattanooga on Sept. 4… posted seven matches with 10 or more kills… set her high-water mark with a .611 hitting percentage at Tennessee State, killing 11 balls on 18 attacks with no errors… took a hitting percentage of .300 or better in 10 matches… totaled a career-high eight blocks against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 13.
High School: Dorsey comes to Tech from Hoover High School in Alabama, where she played as an outside hitter and middle for two seasons on Hoover’s freshman and JV teams… played primarily on the club circuit at Southern Performance, where she helped to win an AAU National Gold championship in the 17U division in 2017… named an AVCA Phenom in 2016… also played beach volleyball for Southern Performance.
Academic: Majoring in exercise science, physical education and wellness with a concentration in pre-physical therapy… named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll once (2018-19)… named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll three times (fall 2018, spring 2019, spring 2020).
