High School: Nye compiled a successful high-school career as a three-sport athlete at Madison Academic Magnet in Jackson, Tenn., where she lettered for four years in soccer, four years as a point guard in basketball and four years as a sprinter in track…three-time member of the all-district team in basketball as well as a state champion and state runner up in the 4x200 in track…on the pitch was a four-time member of the TSWA All-State team as well as a two-time member of the all-region team and all-district team…two-time All-Region Tournament MVP as well as taking home the All-District Tournament MVP…helped lead her squad to four district titles, four region championships and four state playoff appearances…scored 93 goals and picked up 41 assists throughout career…scored 29 goals and collected 18 assists as a senior…notched 15 goals and 14 assists as a junior…split the pipes 22 times with three assists as a sophomore…tabbed nine goals and nine assists as a freshman…in the classroom, was a member of the National Honors Society.

Club/ODP Experience: Nye suited up for FCA, Canva Club, Lexington Sporting 07/06G GA and NHS where she was a three-time all-state and a four-time all-west performer…helped guide team to the JSC 05 girls D2 Presidents Cup Champions in 2022…spent six years in the Olympic Development Program where she earned two-time ODP all-region distinction.

Personal: Daughter of Christopher and Kelly Nye…born March 22, 2007…full name is Mary Kinsley Nye…older sister Meredith just wrapped up a memorable five-year Golden Eagle career (2020-24) as the OVC’s only five-time all-conference performer…mother Kelly was a track & field athlete at Tennessee Tech as well.
