Spring 2023 (Junior): Simms competed in all five of Tech’s spring events, finishing 15 rounds of action… tied for seventh at the OVC Championships (Apr. 16-18), carding a 232 to tie for her lowest score of the season… posted a 73 in the second round of the OVC Championships for her low round of the spring… also turned in a 232 to tie for 20th at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Mar. 12-14)… posted three rounds under 80 at the Brickyard Collegiate (Apr. 10-11) for a top-25 showing… earned Team MVP honors for the first time… wrapped up the year with a scoring average of 77.26, ranking 10th in the OVC.

Spring 2022 (Sophomore): Simms played in all six of Tech's tournaments in the spring, racking up 16 rounds of action… fired a season-low 74 in the second round of the OVC Championships (Apr. 17-19), finishing 10th overall with a season-best 228… earned a top-15 showing with a 76-75-79=230 at the Chris Banister Golf Classic (Oct. 10-12)… secured top-25 showings with a 232 at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate (Sept. 27-28) and with a 155 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Apr. 14-15)… collected the team's Coach's Award for the second straight year… concluded the year with a scoring average of 79.18.
Fall 2021 (Sophomore): Simms took part in all four of the team’s fall events, totaling 12 rounds of play… produced a season-low 230 and grabbed a top-15 finish at the Chris Banister Golf Classic (Oct. 10-12), turning in rounds of 76, 75, and 79… nabbed a top-25 finish after carding a 75-75-82=232 at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate (Sept. 27-28)… led the team in the fall with a 77.17 scoring average.
Spring 2021 (Freshman): Simms competed in four of Tech’s six tournaments in the spring, completing 12 rounds of action… made her collegiate debut with a 78-80-82=240 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (Mar. 14-16)… delivered a season-best 236 behind back-to-back season-low rounds of 76 to open the Colonel Classic (Mar. 29-30)… took home the team’s second-ever Coach’s Award… finished the year with a scoring average of 79.83.
Fall 2020 (Freshman): The 2020 fall season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
High School: Simms was a four-time letterwinner for head coach Mike Driver at Maryville High School… was a two-time PrepXtra Player of the Year Girls Golf nominee… helped MHS to runner-up showings at both the district and region tournaments in 2019… qualified for the All-State Large Class Division in 2017 and 2018… finished as the individual runner-up at both the district and region tournaments during her senior campaign… in 2019, she competed in the Scotland Jr. Golf Invitational… sunk a hole-in-one during a round at Black Creek Club in March of 2018.
