2019-20 (Junior): Appeared in and started all 30 contests… named 2019-20 Preseason All-OVC… averaged 26.6 minutes and 10.1 points per contest, both of which ranked third on the team… shot 40.8 percent from the field and 38.4 percent from 3-point range… averaged 1.8 assists per game and 1.3 rebounds per contest… surpassed 1,000 career points during the OVC Tournament opening round against Southeast Missouri (March 5)... scored double-figures in 16 contests… posted a season-high 21 points against Morehead State (Jan. 23)… recorded a career-high two blocks against Morehead State (Jan. 23).
2018-19 (Sophomore): Brock was named All-OVC First Team following a stellar sophomore campaign in which she led the team offensively, averaging 11.5 points per game… appeared in and started all 33 games, averaging 29.8 minutes per contest which ranked third-best on the team… shot 37.5 percent from the field, 38.2 percent from three… led the team in free throw percentage at 86.8 percent… increased her made 3-pointers per game from 2.3 to 2.4 (tied for third in the OVC)… scored in double-figures in 18 games… recorded a career-high 33 points and a career-high eight 3-pointers made against Eastern Illinois (Jan. 12).
2017-18 (Freshman): Finished her debut season as Tech’s second-leading scorer, averaging 11.3 points per game… appeared in all 29 contests and started 20, averaging 29.0 minutes to rank second on the team… ranked fourth in the conference in made 3-pointers, tallying 68 on the season with an average of 2.3 per game… shot 35.8 percent from 3-point range… scored a career-high 30 points against Southeast Missouri (Jan. 25), tying another career-high of seven 3-pointers… became just the sixth Tech freshman in program history to score 30+ points in a single game and was the first in 13 years to do so… scored 20 points in her collegiate debut against Tennessee Wesleyan (Nov. 10), becoming the first Tech freshman to score 20 or more points in her debut since Kellie Cook put up 22 against Alabama on Nov. 13, 2009 (teammate Kesha Brady also put up 21 points in that same game)… scored in double-figures in 18 games, including seven-straight… named adidas® OVC Freshman of the Week on Jan. 30… added 64 rebounds, 41 assists and 24 steals on the season.
High School: Brock joins the Tech squad after an excellent career at Harlan High School, where she was a point guard under the direction of Derrick Akal... tallied 2,997 career points, which broke the former school record of 2,007 career points to land herself as the all-time leading scorer and put her in the 2,000-point club... averaged 25.3 points, five assists and five rebounds per game in her senior season... helped Harlan to two 13th Region championships, six All-'A' Region championships and a district championship... two-time 13th Region MVP, four-time All 'A' Region MVP and District 52nd MVP once.

Trying to overcome a grief-filled moment and coming up short with Southeast Missouri hitting a buzzer-beater in overtime held heavy in their hearts and minds. Hardly a week later, everything changed with the COVID-19 pandemic. So with a full year of all of this weighing on the Golden Eagles, Thursday, they had enough. Tech opened up the quarterfinal contest in the 2021 OVC Basketball Championships like a team possessed and hardly looked back as the fifth-seeded Golden Eagles took a 79-64 victory over No. 4-seed Jacksonville State, heralding its exit from the OVC in women’s basketball.

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- As the Ohio Valley Conference wrapped up its regular-season basketball slate and stand on the eve of the league’s tournament in Evansville, Ind., the conference announced its All-OVC teams on Tuesday. Tennessee Tech claimed four spots on the teams, picking up second-team selections for junior Anna Jones and seniors Jordan Brock and Kesha Brady. COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – A back-and-forth battle to the end, the Tennessee Tech women fell on the short end of Saturday’s 68-67 loss to Murray State. Macey Turley scored 11 points in the final 10 minutes as she was 4-for-5 from the field and 3-for-4 from long range Katelyn Young tied the game with 45 seconds remaining as she grabbed her own rebound and got the second-chance bucket. NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jordan Brock tried her hardest to keep Tennessee Tech’s four-game winning streak alive and stretch it further against Belmont on Saturday. The senior knocked down seven 3-pointers and collected her second 30-point game of the season. But a hot-shooting Belmont squad was able to pull away in the second half to take a 73-61 victory at the Curb Event Center in the first of back-to-back games against the Bruins. Tech will host Belmont at the Hooper Eblen Center on Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
When Kim Rosamond was named head coach at Tennessee Tech on March 31, 2016, she understood one of the keys to restoring the program’s winning ways would be her staff’s ability to attract the state’s top players back to Cookeville. Rosamond had spent more than a decade coaching and recruiting up and down I-40, and she knew the state of Tennessee had long been a hotbed for high school girls basketball. She also understood the importance of making a statement early on the recruiting trail. Abby Buckner and Taylor Lamb would be cornerstones to the new staff’s first two signing classes at Tennessee Tech, and those first signing classes would quickly put the Golden Eagles on the winning path. Both came from successful high school programs in Tennessee, and both were what Rosamond believed were the kind of “winners” the program needed.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Since Belmont joined the Ohio Valley Conference, there aren’t many teams who have been able to beat them, posting a 120-27 record in league play, posting an incredible .816 winning percentage. In the last five years alone, the Bruins have lost only seven OVC contests – including four on the road with three losses at UT Martin. Before this season, Belmont had only lost once at the Curb Event Center during the span – a 77-72 loss to Tennessee Tech on January 5, 2019. And that was it – until this season. After Belmont had its program shut down from the COVID pandemic, the Bruins went from December 20 to January 19 without playing. That first game back ended up a 72-66 loss to Murray State at the Curb Event Center. Southeast Missouri also found paydirt in Nashville on Feb. 9, topping the Bruins 70-66.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – When the Tennessee Tech women are hot from 3-point range, the Golden Eagles are pretty tough to beat. For the fourth-straight game, Tech knocked down double-digit treys – 13 in Thursday’s contest, one shy of the season-high of 14 – as the Golden Eagles cruised to a 68-52 victory over Tennessee State. Jordan Brock was on fire, hitting five of her seven 3-point tries. The senior ended the night 7-of-10 from the field and 2-for-2 at the free-throw line to pace all scorers with 21 points. Megan Clark knocked down three 3-pointers out of four tries, while Maaliya Owens drained two, including one at the halftime buzzer. Clark was Tech’s other double-digit scorer in the contest, posting 12 points on the night.

There were a lot of good things tonight.” Sophomore Maaliya Owens had a career night, setting new marks in scoring with 19 points and rebounds with seven. A fantastic all-around team effort, led by a thrilling effort from Jordan Brock, saw Tech hand UT Martin its second Ohio Valley Conference loss of the season with a dramatic 77-73 victory on Saturday in the Elam Center.
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Turnovers plagued the Tennessee Tech women all night long on Thursday, but the Golden Eagles just kept finding ways to endure and come back. With 50 seconds remaining, Tech tied the game after coming back from a 10-point deficit not even five minutes earlier. But with 22 seconds left, the turnover was costly. As LaTrese Saine stripped the ball away during a transition from Mackenzie Coleman to Jordan Brock, all Tech could do was foul and try to get the ball back. COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – As the Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team returned back from Richmond, Ky., on January 9, head coach Kim Rosamond gathered the troops in the back of the bus, determined that the Golden Eagles were going to bounce back from a frustrating loss to the Colonels. “That was a tough weekend,” she said. “We were 0-2 on that road trip and we left Eastern Kentucky very, very disappointed. When we got back into Cookeville, I went to the back of the bus and told them if we could play as hard as we played against them, we would fix the execution piece.” In the five games since, it looks like they may be on the right path. In the span since, Tech has lost once, pulling together four wins. That includes a decisive win on Thursday as the Golden Eagles powered their way to a 74-58 victory against that same Eastern Kentucky team in the Hooper Eblen Center.

With a gutsy effort in the fourth quarter, the Golden Eagles rallied from a 51-46 after three quarters and outscored Austin Peay 20-10 in the final 10 minutes to take a 66-61 victory in the Dunn Center on Thursday night. COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It was a dominant performance for the Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team on Saturday night as the Golden Eagles cleared their bench for an 83-34 victory over visiting Tennessee State. “I’m proud of our kids and proud of their effort,” said Tech head coach Kim Rosamond. “It was a really good team win. It was a good way to bounce back from a really tough road weekend last weekend at Morehead State and Eastern Kentucky. “While we would have loved to play Belmont on Thursday night, we really needed some time to work on ourselves, especially during this COVID season. Practice time has been very difficult to find, so being able to get in here for three days and really work on, first of all, defense, since we were not pleased with our defensive effort last weekend. We also haven’t been shooting the ball well.”

RICHMOND, Ky. – The difference statistically between Tennessee Tech and Eastern Kentucky pretty much came down to one thing on Saturday afternoon – the Colonels got to the free-throw line and the Golden Eagles didn’t. As Eastern Kentucky pulled away on runs, Tech responded chipping away and chipping away, even climbing back within one with 8:37 remaining in the contest. But as the Colonels started seeing the charity stripe more and more in the waning seconds, EKU was able to inflate its lead to the final margin of 73-65. The defeat spoiled Tech’s first two double-doubles of the season as senior Mackenzie Coleman grabbed her eighth career double-double and junior Anna Jones tacking on her first. Coleman led the Golden Eagles with 15 points and 10 boards, while Jones had 12 points and 10 rebounds.
RICHMOND, Ky. – If there's any team in the Ohio Valley Conference that is gunning for the Tennessee Tech women, Eastern Kentucky probably fits that bill. The Golden Eagles have taken the last four meetings and Tech owns a 70-28 record in the all-time series. The homestanding Eagles topped Tech 65-62 on Thursday night at Johnson Arena, but the Golden Eagles (4-3, 2-2 Ohio Valley Conference) won’t have long to dwell on the loss as they travel up the road to Eastern Kentucky on Saturday to finish Tech’s Death Valley swing.

Holiday aside, the extended break saw a game against Bellarmine canceled and a contest against SIUE postponed. Now, nearly 18 days later, they’ll entertain the Golden Eagles. CHARLESTON, Ill. – There were certainly plenty of moments where Saturday’s game looked in doubt, but don’t tell that to sophomore Maaliya Owens. In the fourth quarter alone, Owens scored nine of her 16 points, helping to propel the Tennessee Tech women from a 15-point deficit nearing the midpoint of the third quarter to a 72-67 victory over Eastern Illinois on Saturday afternoon at Lantz Arena.

The Tennessee Tech women’s basketball spent almost all of December in the friendly confines of the Hooper Eblen Center, only playing once on the road in the Golden Eagles’ season opener at Chattanooga. COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – On the same day senior guard Jordan Brock was honored for surpassing the 1,000-point mark in her career, she showed why she has been a crucial part of the Tennessee Tech offense over the last few years. Brock ended the game with 22 points as she helped lead the Golden Eagles to a 73-59 victory over Western Kentucky on Sunday in a game that was a quick change after Saturday’s opponent, Samford, had to cancel as the team entered COVID protocols.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the first year finished and the Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team officially off the ground, there were many players who were helping the program take flight. From the span of 1973 to 1978, the names Pam Cassity and Gayle Burgess Hastings shine among the brightest. That span saw three Tennessee College Women’s Sports Federation state championships, three AIAW regional crowns and four AIAW national tournament appearances. That five-year run for the Tech women were a legendary one as the Golden Eagles went 26-5 in 1973-74, 27-5 in 1974-75, 28-2 in 1975-76, 28-8 in 1976-77 and 19-14 in 1977-78.

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – With the Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team getting set to kick off its season on November 25, the Ohio Valley Conference released its preseason projections and all-conference team on Friday, based on the voting of the league’s coaches and sports information contacts. The Golden Eagles were projected to finish fourth, in what could be a hotly-contested battle for the top five spots in the league. UT Martin, with 22 first-place votes, were tabbed as the preseason favorite, while Belmont and reigning OVC tournament champ Southeast Missouri were voted second and third. Following Tech in fourth, Eastern Illinois was in fifth. The rest of the order saw Jacksonville State, Morehead State, Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, SIUE and Tennessee State in succession.

Coupled with an exciting non-conference schedule, Tech women’s basketball looks to make this anniversary year an exciting one. “Even with the challenges that the virus will present this season, our team is just excited and grateful to be on the court together preparing for this season,” said Tech head coach Kim Rosamond. “In all we do, the health and safety of our players, as well as our family and fans, will always come first, and I appreciate how hard our administration is working behind the scenes to give us an opportunity to play.
