2018-19 (Freshman): Appeared in 23 games and averaged nine minutes per contest… average three points per game while shooting 55.6 percent from the field… averaged 1.3 rebounds per game… set numerous career-highs against Wichita State (Dec. 2) including 28 minutes played, 17 points, five rebounds, and two steals while shooting perfect from the field.

High School: Three-time Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Ms. Basketball Finalist (Class A: 2016-17, Class AA: 2018) … three-time TSSAA All-State Tournament MVP … four-time All-State Tournament team selection … four-time Tennessee Sports Writers Association all-stater … three-time regional MVP, four-time all-region honoree … four-time district MVP, named to four all-district teams … led South Greene to a Class A state championship in 2017, and defeated Clarkrange in the title game, 66-57 … averaged 18.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.7 blocks per game as a senior, and 15.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.4 blocks per game for her four-year career … competed at the club level for TN Flight Silver … earned four varsity letters in both basketball and volleyball under coach Stephen Gregg.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – One thing was certain after the Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team’s 88-51 victory over Cumberland University on Tuesday night – these Golden Eagles have plenty of depth. The Tech women (1-0) had solid production from the usual suspects, but as the Golden Eagles started to pull further away, the newcomers came out to play. In the second half alone, freshman Jada Guinn was a perfect 5-for-5, scoring 11 of her 13 points. Named the Special Olympics Player of the Game, she finished with five rebounds and six assists, while also shooting 6-for-8 in the game. She was just one of five players who finished with double-digit scoring as Kesha Brady finished with 15 points, followed by Mackenzie Coleman (12), Jordan Brock (11) and newcomer Maaliya Owens (11).
