Jenna was a two-time National Junior Olympics cross country All-American during her prep career, as well as a West Valley High School Scholar-Athlete...will make an immediate impact on Tech's cross country program, as well as the distance troops for the track & field team.

Coach Angel on Storms: Jenna comes to Tech ranked as the number three 1,500-meter runner in California. She also ranks among the Top 100 in the US in the 1500m. Jenna has the ability to help us in many areas. She is an impact runner who will help Tech realize immediate results in cross country and track.

AT TECH (IN 2017): Jenna recorded indoor personal-best times in the mile (5:20.93, Vanderbilt Opener) and the 3,000-meter (10:21.94, OVC Championships)...established personal-best outdoor marks in the 1,500-meter with a time of 4:58.24 at the Austin Peay Invitational and the 3K Steeplechase with an 11:57.18 mark at the Hilltopper Relays.

AT TECH (IN 2015-16): Jenna enjoyed an outstanding first year of collegiate cross country, leading the Golden Eagle runners in two meets and finishing among team leaders in every meet in 2015...opened her career by leading Tech at the Indiana Classic in 19:25.03..best performances of the year came at the Louisville Classic (Oct. 3), finishing as Tech's top runner and placing 14th overall with a personal best time of 18:24.85...that effort ranks as the 11th fastest 5K time in Tech cross country history...had another outstanding finish two week earlier at Vanderbilt at 18:35.2 to rank as the 16th fastest in the TTU record book...ran two other times that rank in the Top 36 all-time at Tech, going 18:51.45 at the Alabama Crimson Classic, and posting a time of 19:09.9 at the OVC Championships...named the Cross Country Freshman of the Year.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Jenna was the third-ranked 1,500-meter runner in California who won the Northern Section CIF cross country championship...also the Division V section champion...has posted outstanding times at distances ranging from 800m (2:23) all the way up to 5,000m (18:41)...in between, she has clocked times of 4:42 at 1,500m and 10:15 at 3,000.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Ben and Joie Storms...born June 3, 1997 in Redding, Calif.

ACADEMIC: Majoring in psychology and intends to become and high school counselor.
