Bio

Morgan comes to Tech as a talented competitor from a high school with a strong reputation for success...brings with her the necessary drive and competitive attitude that promises to lead to a stellar college career...named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll to recognize her academic efforts...got her first taste of collegiate competition with one meet during the cross country season and will be a mainstay in the track & field season while competing in the 1500m and 5000m races.

AT TECH - (IN 2009-10): Morgan ran in the Sewanee meet in the cross country season and clocked in with a time of 21:10.42.

HIGH SCHOOL: Morgan spent her high school years at Science Hill High in Johnson City where she competed in both track and cross country...she achieved All-Conference awards every year from 2006 to 2008, All-Region awards all three years, and won All-State awards in 2008...has posted a career-best mark in the 5K race at 19:31...helped her team win the conference and regional championships in 2007 and 2008, and the state championship in 2008...also competed on a traveling soccer team.

Personal: The daughter of Dwight and Donna Taylor...birthdate is July 13, 1991...full name is Morgan Rhea Taylor...enrolled in nursing.
