Bio

Courtney is in her first year on the Golden Eagle squad and will be a contributor during the cross country season and the track campaign...will run the 1,500m and 5,000m distances during the track season...competed in track, cross country, tennis and the swim team at Cumberland County High School...also a solid student in the classroom...named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in recognition of her academic performance.

AT TECH - (In 2009-10): Courtney competed in all six cross country meets during her freshman season...reached a best time of 22:38.08 at the Evansville meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: Courtney lettered twice in cross country at Cumberland County High School in Crossville...placed third in the 3AAA Regional during her junior year...won second place honors in the 3AAA Regional during her senior year and would go on to place 19th statewide...participated on the United States Duathlon team in her sophomore year, where she placed second in the nation and 13th in the world...also a strong tennis player...lettered and was all-district twice on the court...received two letters on the swim team...qualified for the 50m & 100m freestyle swim in junior year...performed well in academics...named Student of the Month in her freshman, sophomore and senior years.
