In 2016 (Junior): Alyssa appeared in 56 games. starting in 55 for the Golden Eagles, primarily as a catcher and first baseman...ranked fourth on the Tech team with a .231 (34-147) batting aveage...notched a .463 slugging percentage and .363 on-base percentage...led the Golden Eagles with 31 RBI, 10 homeruns, and 26 walks on the season, while also tallying four double...In the OVC, her 10 homeruns ranked her second, her 31 RBI ranked her ninth, and her 26 walks ranked her third...ended the season with a .979 fielding percentage committing just eight errors on the year and tallying 351 putouts and 30 assists...recorded a season-high four RBI in the win over Memphis on Mar. 5 when she launched a grand slam over the left field wall in the top of the first...collected RBI in three consecutive games on two occasions (Mar. 19-25, Apr. 9-10)...Went 3-for-3 at the dish at Jacksonville State on Mar. 19 including an RBI-single and two-run homerun.

OXFORD, Ala. – Gabby LaSala started the game with an exclamation, but Eastern Kentucky responded in force as the Colonels scored in every inning, including six in the third inning as EKU run-ruled the Golden Eagles 11-2 in five innings to end Tech’s season. The Golden Eagles (16-30) had a lead-off home run from LaSala to give Tech its first run in the opening frame, but the Colonels countered with a run as Johnkyria Alston singled up the middle to drive in Krislyn Campos.

As a senior heading into her final showing in the Ohio Valley Conference tournament at Choccolocco Park, Liberatore put forward the best effort she could on Wednesday afternoon. OXFORD, Ala. – There was no question that senior Alyssa Richards has been one of the driving forces of the Tennessee Tech softball team in 2017, but she received some recognition of that as she was selected to the all-Ohio Valley Conference softball first-team roster on Tuesday night. Richards ended the regular-season campaign with a .295 batting average as she drove in a team-high 23 RBI with seven home runs and eight doubles to pace her team-best 67 total bases.
