2023 (Junior): Hyland ran in all six of Tech's events during the year… finished second for the purple and gold three times… made his Golden Eagle debut by placing third for the team in the 4 Mile at the Tennessee XC Invitational (Sept. 1)… led Tech at the Covered Bridge Open (Sept. 15) with an 8K of 25:19.4… delivered a PR in the 8K with a time of 24:20.31 at the OVC Championships (Oct. 28), the fifth-fastet in program history.
2022 (Sophomore – McNeese): Hyland took part in all five of the team's meets during the year… produced a PR in the 6K with a time of 20:04.5 at the McNeese Season Opener (Sept. 2) to kick off the year… finished under 26 minutes in both 8K attempts on the year, including a season-best time of 25:42.0 at the Southland Conference Championships (Oct. 28)… competed in his first 10K, finishing at 34:31.6 at the NCAA South Central Regionals (Nov. 11).
2021 (Freshman – McNeese): Hyland competed in four of McNeese's five events as a true freshman… made his collegiate debut with a time of 20:23.3 in the 6K to finish ninth at the McNeese Season Opener (Sept. 3)… tallied a four-mile time of 20:18.6 at the Lake Charles Toyota Cowboy Stampede (Sept. 25), placing 20th… clocked in at 25:25.1 in the 8K at the Arturo Barrios Invitational (Oct. 16).
