2022 (Sophomore): Beattie took part in all six of the team's meets during the fall… registered a career-best 8K of 26:13.7 to place sixth among Tech runners at the Live in Lou Class (Oct. 1)… finished fourth among the Golden Eagle squad at the Covered Bridge Open (Sep. 2), posting a time of 27:00.48… turned in a career-best 10K of 34:11.9 at the NCAA South Regionals (Nov. 11).

2021 (Freshman): Beattie competed in all six of Tech's meets in the fall… made his collegiate debut with a time of 27:38.44 in the 8K at the Covered Bridge Open (Sept. 3)… delivered a season-best 8K time of 26:57.9 at the Live in Lou Classic (Oct. 2)… finished fifth for Tech at the Golden Eagle Invitational (Oct. 15) with an 8K of 28:00.7… posted a top 10K time of 34:57.90 at the NCAA South Regionals (Nov. 12).

High School: Beattie was a three-sport athlete at Nolensville High School in Nolensville, Tenn., lettering three years in cross country for head coach Brooke Roblitz, four years in track & field for Coach Roblitz, and three years in football as a punter and kicker for head coach Paul Derrick… earned All-Mid-State Second Team honors in cross country in 2019… was a finalist for the 2021 WILLCO Award for top boys country runner… placed fourth in the Region 6 cross country championship in 2020, qualifying for the state championship… picked up All-Region 4-4A First Team honors as a punter for the football team in 2019… named to the 2020 All-WillCo Football Team as a punter.

Personal: Son of Christina and Douglas Beattie… born in Nashville, Tenn. on September 20, 2002… full name is Nicholas Stevens Beattie… grandfather, Dan Griffith, played baseball at Otterbein University… uncle, Chris Beattie, played soccer at Otterbein.

Academic: Majoring in civil engineering.
