FRESHMAN (2020-21): Holis secured a strong spring season on his way to an All-OVC second-team honor…did not compete in the fall after the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic…took home two OVC Player of the Week honors, picking up his first accolade on Mar. 10 and his second on Mar. 31…registered an 8-6 singles record, appearing exclusively out of the top three positions in the TTU order…went 0-1 in the No. 1 position, but posted a 4-3 record out of the No. 2 slot and a 4-2 mark out of the No. 3 spot…went 3-1 in OVC play…ended the spring on a four-match winning streak, which included a victory in the OVC Tournament semifinals against Austin Peay and a nod in the OVC Tournament championship match against Belmont…teamed up with Jun Sasagawa to form Tech’s most formidable doubles tandem, collecting a team-leading 8-5 record, highlighted by a 7-4 mark in the top spot.
FRESHMAN (2019-20): After coming to the Golden Eagles just prior to the start of the spring, Holis excelled in his rookie campaign with a 5-3 singles record before the rest of the year was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic…exclusively competed in the top three spots in the rotation, posting a 2-1 record out of the No. 1 position, a 2-0 mark out of the No. 2 spot and a 1-2 ledger out of the No. 3 slot…went 3-5 during doubles action, all out of the No. 1 spot…earned the OVC Player of the Week award on Feb. 26.
