FRESHMAN (2018-19): Grubert put together a stellar freshman campaign with a spot on the All-OVC second team…went 7-6 during singles play in the spring, highlighted by a 3-1 OVC record…posted a 4-1 singles record out of the No. 3 spot and a 2-0 mark out of the No. 4 slot…ended the spring on a four-match singles winning streak, including a straight-set win in the OVC Tournament championship match against Jacksonville State…went 5-7 in the fall during singles play for a 12-13 overall record throughout the year…claimed consecutive singles wins in the Chattanooga Collegiate Clay Court Championships in Tech’s second event of the fall (Sept. 14-16), including a nod over Vanderbilt’s Vikram Chari in the consoloation semifinals…posted a 6-9 overall doubles mark, going 2-5 in the spring and 4-4 in the fall.
