Bio

A versatile athlete, Kyron will provide depth for the Golden Eagles all along the front defensive line in 2015...a dual threat, he can play either nose guard or defensive tackle and should provide 15-20 snaps per contest...has great strength at the point of attack...possesses good strngth and always gives top-notch effort...redshirt during his first year on the roster and saw limited action each of the past two years....well-prepared to make an impact in Tech’s defensive line...is a leader on the team, whether he's on the field or the sidelines...named on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

AT TECH (IN 2014): Saw action in a total of seven games, including the first five of the year...made four total tackles.

(IN 2013): Saw limited action in the season’s first two games against Cumberland and Wisconsin...recorded two tackles in the season open vs. Cumberland.

(IN 2012): Sat out the year as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: A defensive end who covered a lot of turf, Kyron was a three-year starter for coach Tory Crane at Lebanon High School...as a junior, he had 34 total tackles with seven tackles-for-loss and 3.5 quarterback sacks...in his senior season, he raised those numbers to impressive heights, finishing with 83 total tackles including 39 solo stops, with 16 tackles-for-loss and 9.5 quarterback sacks for the Blue Devils.

PERSONAL: Kyron is the son of Rodney Hart and Amanda Potts... born March 3, 1994, in Murfreesboro, Tenn... full name is Kyron Alexander Hart....majoring in electrical engineering.
