2023 (Sophomore – Dyersburg State CC): Matos appeared in five games with one start while missing time during the year due to injury… tallied an 0-2 mark with a 8.56 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 13.2 innings on the mound… allowed 13 earned runs, 15 hits, and 15 walks… led the team with a 13.83 K/9 ratio… fanned seven batters in 4.0 innings at Lawson State CC (Feb. 4)… delivered 5.0 scoreless frames out of the bullpen against Chattanooga State CC (Apr. 28), striking out five batters while scattering two hits… punched out a season-best nine batters in 4.1 inning versus Walters State CC (May 10), allowing two earned runs… struck out five or more batters in three of his five appearances.
