High School: Delic was a four-year letterwinner as a shortstop and pitcher at Cosumnes Oaks High School in Elk Grove, Calif. for head coach Mark Gwerder… turned in a .545 batting average and 0.95 ERA as a senior before suffering a season-ending injury… was batting .444 with a 0.00 ERA on the mound as a junior before the remainder of the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… compiled a .271 average at the plate and 2.28 ERA as a pitcher during his sophomore season… as a freshman, batted .349 with a 2.62 ERA… named to the 2018 Capitol Valley All-Conference Team and the 2019 Delta League All-Conference Team… given a 9.5 grade by Perfect Game coming out of high school, projecting him to be a potential top-10 MLB Draft pick or one of the highest level college prospects… earned a spot on the 2020 Perfect Game Preseason California All-Region First Team and 2021 Perfect Game Preseason California All-Region Second Team… invited to take part in the 2019 Perfect Game Jr. National Showcase and was selected do the 2019 Perfect Game Underclass All-American Games West (Royal) Team… listed as the No. 23 shortstop prospect in the state of California and a top-100 prospect for the state by Perfect Game.
