2019 (Sophomore): Sylvester appeared in 18 games while making one start for the Golden Eagles… compiled an 0-3 record with a team-low 3.45 ERA and team-high three saves… completed 31.1 innings while totaling 30 strikeouts and 18 walks… allowed 12 earned runs and 28 hits while holding opposing batters to a .230 average… picked up his first save of the year in the second game of a doubleheader against Western Illinois (Feb. 16)… started the season with six-straight scoreless appearances… picked up saves in the second game of a doubleheader against SIUE (Mar. 10) and the first of a doubleheader against Morehead State (May 10)… made his first collegiate start while completing a season-high five innings with a season-high six strikeouts at Eastern Kentucky (May 5)… struck out three or more batters four times and multiple batters in seven contests… held opponents scoreless in 11 of his appearances… covered at least two innings in eight games.

The Golden Eagles will now host Evansville in a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 p.m. CT at Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex.
