2024 (R-Freshman): Rodgers did not officially see the sand during the 2024 beach season, competing only in Tech's alternate position in exhibition duals.

2023 (Freshman): Rodgers sat out the 2023 season as a redshirt due to injury.

High School: Rodgers was a three-year letterwinner at Alan C. Pope High School in Marietta, Ga. for head coach Erica Miller… took home Most Improved Player honors as a member of the junior varsity team, eventually earning a promotion to varsity as part of the GHSA 6A State Championship squad… compiled 787 kills, 293 blocks, 195 digs, and 79 service aces during her career… as a senior, recorded 379 kills, 109 blocks, 117 digs, and 51 aces on her way to GHSA 6A All-State Player of the Year honors… also named AVCA Best and Brightest Second Team and to the All-State First Team… earned three straight All-Region First Team honors, including GHSA Region 6-6A Player of the Year as a junior and senior… as a sophomore, collected GVCA 6A All-State Honorable Mention… led her team to back-to-back Region 6-6A titles in 2020 and 2021.

Personal: Daughter of Jerome and Aronda Rodgers… born in Rhode Island on May 7, 2004… full name is Ayanna Nicole Rodgers… father, Jerome, played basketball at Tennessee Tech from 1987-91, still ranks 25th on the program’s all-time scoring list with 1,138 points, and was a member of the 1987-88 OVC All-Freshman Team.
