Bio
Lonnie Warwick was the first Golden Eagle product to play in the NFL's Super Bowl, playing linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings in 1970. At Tech, Warwick earned All-OVC distinction in his two seasons under coach Wilburn Tucker in 1962 and 1963 to culminate a career that produced a 23-18 four-year record. He began a nine-year NFL career in Minnesota in 1964. After seven years on the Vikings' roster, he played with the Atlanta Falcons for two years.
