Bio
Jack Van Hooser was the Golden Eagle starting quarterback for three seasons and helped the Golden Eagle grid squad post a four-year mark of 25-15-3 record during his playing career from 1951-54. He played under three football coaches - Star Wood, Putty Overall, and Wilburn Tucker. Van Hooser also lettered two years in baseball under Wilburn Tucker. In 1954, he won the Outstanding Athlete Medal.
