Tennessee Tech University is located in Cookeville, Tennessee, a city of approximately 38,000 located midway between Nashville and Knoxville along Interstate 40 (mile markers 286-290). The University is situated in the northwest part of town.

from Atlanta, GA

  • Take I-75 North towards Chattanooga (crossing into Tennessee)
  • Take left at Exit #2 onto I-24 West toward Nashville/Chattanooga
  • Take the Market St/TN-58 S exit, EXIT 178, toward Lookout Mt/US-41.
  • Merge onto US-27/TN-29 N via the ramp on the left toward Downtown/Chattanooga
  • Merge onto TN-111 N via the exit ramp on the left toward Dunlap/continue toward Cookeville
  • Merge onto I-40 W via the ramp on the left toward Nashville
  • Take Exit 286 and turn right (north) onto Willow Avenue. Drive three miles.
  • Eblen Center, the Tech Soccer Field and Tucker stadium are on your right, while the Averitt Express Baseball Complex and Tech Softball field will be to your left.
  • Turn at the light onto University Drive.

from Birmingham, AL

  • Take I-65 North toward Nashville
  • Merge onto TN-840 E via EXIT 59A toward Knoxville/Murfreesboro
  • Merge onto I-40 E via EXIT 76A toward Lebanon/Knoxville
  • Take Exit 286 and turn left (north) onto Willow Avenue. Drive three miles.
  • Eblen Center, the Tech Soccer Field and Tucker stadium are on your right, while the Averitt Express Baseball Complex and Tech Softball field will be to your left.
  • Turn at the light onto University Drive.

from Chattanooga, TN

  • From downtown Chattanooga, merge onto TN-111 N via the exit ramp on the left toward Dunlap/continue toward Cookeville
  • Merge onto I-40 W via the ramp on the left toward Nashville
  • Take Exit 286 and turn right (north) onto Willow Avenue. Drive three miles.
  • Eblen Center, the Tech Soccer Field and Tucker stadium are on your right, while the Averitt Express Baseball Complex and Tech Softball field will be to your left.

from Evansville, IN

  • Take Pennyrile Parkway South (US 41) toward Hopkinsville
  • Exit onto I-24 W toward Nashville
  • Merge onto TN-155 E/Briley Pkwy W via EXIT 43 toward Opryland
  • Merge onto 1-40 E toward Knoxville/Int’l Airport
  • Take Exit 286 and turn left (north) onto Willow Avenue. Drive three miles.
  • Eblen Center, the Tech Soccer Field and Tucker stadium are on your right, while the Averitt Express Baseball Complex and Tech Softball field will be to your left.
  • Turn at the light onto University Drive.

from Knoxville, TN

  • Take I-40 West toward Nashville
  • Take Exit 286 and turn right (north) onto Willow Avenue. Drive three miles.
  • Eblen Center, the Tech Soccer Field and Tucker stadium are on your right, while the Averitt Express Baseball Complex and Tech Softball field will be to your left.
  • Turn at the light onto University Drive.

from Lexington, KY

  • Take I-75 S toward Knoxville
  • Take the US-25 exit, EXIT 62, toward Mt Vernon; Turn right on KY-461
  • From KY-461, turn right onto KY-80 W
  • Turn left onto KY-914 S. Follow 914 to bypass (KY-1247)/Turns into KY-90 W
  • Turn left onto KY-127 S toward Albany
  • Merge into TN-111 toward Byrdstown
  • Exit at the Cookeville/Algood exit and turn west (left) onto 10th street. Drive three miles to Washington Avenue.
  • Turn Right and go 2/10 mile to 12th Street, turn left and drive 1/2 mile.
  • Tucker Stadium, the Tech Soccer Field and Eblen Center are on your left as you travel on 12th street.
  • To get to the Averitt Express Baseball Complex and Tech Softball Field, turn left onto Willow Avenue, and those facilities will be on your right. Turn right onto University Drive.

from Louisville, KY

  • Take I-65 South towards Bowling Green
  • Take the KY-90/KY-70 exit, EXIT 53, toward Cave City/Glasgow
  • Turn right onto US-31 S
  • Turn left onto W Main St/US-68 Bus E/KY-90/KY-80. Continue to follow KY-90
  • Turn right onto Tompkinsville Rd/KY-163. Continue to follow KY-163
  • Turn left onto E 4th St/KY-163. Continue to follow KY-163 (Crossing into Tennessee). KY-163 becomes TN-51
  • Merge into TN-52 toward Celina
  • Turn right onto Gainesboro Hwy/TN-53/TN-52. Continue to follow TN-53
  • TN-53 becomes TN-56. Continue on TN-56 to Old Gainesboro Hwy/TN-290. Turn left onto TN-29
  • TN-290 becomes 12th street in Cookeville
  • Eblen Center, the Tech Soccer Field and Tucker stadium are on your right
  • To get to the Averitt Express Baseball Complex and Tech Softball field, turn right onto Willow Ave, then first right onto University Drive at the light

from Memphis, TN

  • Take I-40 East toward Nashville
  • Take Exit 286 and turn left (north) onto Willow Avenue. Drive three miles

  • Turn at the light onto University Drive

from Nashville, TN

  • Take I-40 East toward Knoxville

  • I-64 connects with I-57, continue on I-57 South toward Memphis
  • Take exit #44 onto I-24 East toward Nashville
  • Merge onto TN-155 E/Briley Pkwy W via EXIT 43 toward Opryland
  • Merge onto 1-40 E toward Knoxville/Int’l Airport
  • Take Exit 286 and turn left (north) onto Willow Avenue. Drive three miles
