Bio
Beth Boden served as president of Tech's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in 2007-08, and was instrumental in the efforts of the group in community service projects. A four-year letterwinner and a three-time First-Team All-OVC selection, Boden earned Academic All-America honors and was also named to the Lowe's All-Senior All-America First-Team. On the field, she batted .301 as a senior with 16 doubles, two triples and 13 home runs and 34 RBI. She ranked second in the league in total bases, runs and doubles, fourth in home runs, and fifth in hits. She was recently a repeat winner of the President's Award and won the 2008 Steve Hamilton Sportsmanship Award from the OVC.
