COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech volleyball team has announced its 2014 summer camp schedule.
The David Zelenock Volleyball Camps will span the dates of July 11 through July 15 with four different camps available.
Head coach Dave Zelenock changed the landscape of TTU volleyball in 2013 in just his first season. The team improved in hitting percentage, kills per game, aces per game, and points per game. Zelenock has been named by the American Volleyball Coaches Assosication as a "Top 30 under 30 coach" and during his career has recruited 20-plus all-conference players, including a three-time all-American. Helping him coach the camps will be TTU assistants Cassandra Joyner and Lola Oladinni, as well as current TTU players.
Setters Camp and Hitters Camp will be held on July 14. Setters camp is focused on only aspects pertaining to the setter position, to give in-depth training sessions for setters. Hitters camp will emphasize and teach the precise skills to become an elite attacker.
Ball Control camp will be on July 15. It is designed to guide players to improve their backcourt skill set.
