BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- Beating the field and capturing her first career medalist honor has earned Tennessee Tech senior Megan Bradford the honor of Ohio Valley Conference Female Golfer of the Week.
Bradford captured top honors at the F&M Bank APSU
Intercollegiate in Clarksville on Tuesday. The senior from Jackson,
Tenn., had a round of 78 (+6) during the opening round but followed
that with an even par round of 72 on Tuesday to finish at 150 (+6)
and capture the title by two strokes.
Her performance helped the Golden Eagles to a fourth place finish out of 17 teams. The field featured seven of the eight OVC women's teams who will compete for the OVC Championship this year. In eight rounds this fall, Bradford has a 76.9 stroke average, sixth best in the Conference.
