BRASELTON, Ga. - Junior Megan Bradford led Tech with a two over
par on the final round to claim a third place finish in the field
of 48 at the Larry Nelson Invitational. She helped lead the Golden
Eagle women's golf team to a fourth place amongst the nine
teams.
Greyson Painter led the men's team with a +19 for the
tournament.
Tech, Belmont Abbey, Garnder-Webb, Mercer, Samford, South Dakota
State, USC Upstate, Xavier and host Kennesaw State made up the
women's field.
The men's field was a little larger, with Tech, Belmont Abbey,
Belmont, Columbia, ETSU, Florida Gulf Coast, Gardner-Webb,
Jacksonville, Morehead State, Stetson, UT Martin, USC Upstate and
host Kennesaw State.
The men will be back in action on April 6-7 in Nashville at the
Big Blue Intercollegiate, hosted by Tennessee State. The women play
again April 11-12 at the EKU Spring Invitational hosted by Eastern
Kentucky in Richmond, Ky.
