Golden Eagles remain steady at 16th in Mid-Major Poll

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --- In the most recent poll conducted by CollegeInsider.com, the Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team is ranked 16th in the NCAA Mid-Major Top 25.

TTU remained steady in the poll after putting together a 1-1 record last week with an 87-76 win over East Tennessee State and a 74-52 loss to UCLA.

Tech is the OVC’s lone representative in the poll with UT Martin receiving votes. Of its upcoming opponents, Middle Tennessee is the only team in the top-25, coming in at eighth, while Samford is receiving votes.

The Golden Eagles host Long Island Friday evening in their final game of the Preseason WNIT, with the opening tip set for 7 p.m.

To purchase season tickets contact the Athletic Ticket Office at (931) 372-3940 or log on to TTUSports.com. Tech’s game against Long Island Friday is not part of the season tickets package and must be purchased separately.
