CAMP NOTEBOOK: Back the Golden Eagles ticket plan very popular...again

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - With the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagle football season about to get underway, season tickets are still on sale for the opportunity to watch "The Fastest 60 Minutes in Football." The most popular plan, now in its ninth season, is the Back the Golden Eagles Plan.

Fans can be season ticket holders for less than $3.50 per game by purchasing the Back The Golden Eagles Plan. This option includes 10 tickets to each of the six home games – a total of 60 tickets – for only $200. It is a perfect fit for businesses, but is also popular with large families and fan groups. In fact, it breaks down to $3.33 per ticket, just 33 percent of an individual game ticket price.

"The support we get from season ticket holders is vitally important to our program," said Leveda Birdwell, Director of Corporate Sales and Marketing. "The fans that come to every game are invested in the team, and they get the opportunity to see the team and players evolve from week to week.

"The Back the Golden Eagle Plan is our most popular plan, and it is such a great deal," Birdwell added. "I always suggest it to people looking to buy a larger quantity of season tickets, such as a business."

Season ticket holders have the opportunity to see the Golden Eagles take on non-conference opponents Cumberland and Indiana State, and Ohio Valley Conference opponents Tennessee State, UT Martin, Jacksonville State and Austin Peay. Following each of the four night games, a fireworks display will also capture the attention of fans in the stands.

As an added bonus, all season ticket holders will receive a gift for their year-long commitment to Tech football.

Another ticket plan option is the Family Plan, which provides two adult tickets and three children's tickets for each of the home games for $75. The cost is just $2.50 per ticket.

Individual adult, youth and senior citizen season tickets are also on sale, as well as individual game tickets.
