OVC announces TV package on FOX College Sports including one Tech game

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- The Ohio Valley Conference announced Thursday a six-game football television package that will air on FOX College Sports (FCS) this fall, including Tennessee Tech's regular season finale at Austin Peay on November 17.

The six-game schedule will feature each of the nine OVC football-playing institutions at least once during the season and will start with a Sept. 29 contest between Eastern Kentucky and UT Martin.

Other games in the package include Tennessee State at Jacksonville State (Oct. 20), Eastern Illinois at Eastern Kentucky (Oct. 27), Tennessee State at Murray State (Nov. 3), Southeast Missouri at Eastern Illinois (Nov. 10) and Tennessee Tech at Austin Peay (Nov. 17).

"We are delighted about our FOX College Sports partnership because it allows us to demonstrate our commitment to being a strong football conference and showcase our brand to a national audience,” said OVC Commissioner Beth DeBauche.

Kevin Ingram, host of “The Wake Up Zone” on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, will handle play-by-play duties while and Bob Belvin, host of “The Team” on Sports Radio 540 The Fan in Clarksville, will provide analysis.
