IN HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner as both an offensive and defensive lineman at Chester County High School, Corey started all 13 games on both sides of the line of scrimmage as a senior for the Eagles under head coach Jeff Cupples. Together the pair helped the Eagles post a 10-3 overall record and a 5-2 mark in conference play, while reaching the third round of the TSSAA playoffs. He won the team's Outstanding Leadership Award and was named to the All-District 14AA team as a defensive lineman. He finished the 2011 season with 31 total tackles, including eight tackles-for-loss and three quarterback sacks.
