Season tickets on sale Monday for "Fastest 60 Minutes in Football"

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Season tickets will officially go on sale Monday at 8 a.m. for the "Fastest 60 Minutes in Football." Season tickets for Tennessee Tech's five-game home schedule, which will be on sale at the Athletics Ticket Office in Eblen Center, give fans the chance to support the Golden Eagles in their bid for an Ohio Valley Conference championship under head coach Watson Bown.

Tech will host five home games this season at Tucker Stadium, including a matchup against 2010 OVC Champion Southeast Missouri, along with a Murray State many are picking to be the favorite in the league in 2011. The Racers visit on Homecoming Weekend (November 5). Tech also hosts Maryville College, plus a pair of in-state rivalries in the quest to regain the Sgt York Trophy as both Tennessee State and Austin Peay come calling on Overall Field.

There are three ways fans or supporters can order/reserve tickets – via phone, mail, or online. Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Athletics Ticket Office at 931-372-3940; filling out a season ticket brochure, enclose check or credit card information, and mail directly to the Tennessee Tech Athletics Ticket Office, Eblen Center, Box 5057, Cookeville, TN 38505, or go to www.TTUsport.com, click on the tickets link at the top and order tickets online.

The Golden Eagles will start the 2011 season by facing Big Ten power Iowa on Saturday, Sept. 3, then come home to host Maryville College in a non-conference game on Thursday, Sept. 8.  To get u- to-date promotional activities for Tech football, please visit www.TTUsports.com.
