Considered the fastest among Tech's cornerbacks, Corbin is a fifth-year senior with three seasons of experience...figures to see action at field corner and also in the "dime" package...plays with great energy and goes full speed...listed second on the depth chart...provides quality depth...consistency level has improved...hard work off the field has increased his size and his strength, and made him better on the field...shows good coverage abilities...a playmaker with good quickness...is working to become a leader within the team...will also see playing time on coverage teams...has played in 31 career games and chalked up 67 career tackles and eight passes defended.
At Tech - (In 2009): Corbin played in 10 games as a junior, seeing spot action at field corner and some in the dime package...made 11 solo stops and finished the year with 18 total tackles...knocked down two passes....made three tackles and recovered a fumble in the win over Murray State to wrap up the season...season-high four tackles in games against Georgia and Jacksonville State.
(In 2008): Corbin became a veteran quickly during his second season on the field, playing in all 12 games and starting five, including the first four contests...ranked sixth on the team with 43 total tackles...ranked third on the squad with five passes defended...opened the year with a career-high nine total tackles in the win over Gardner-Webb, along with two passes defended...averaged six tackles per game against Tech's two FBS opponents, getting six tackles at Louisville (Sept. 6) and six more at Western Michigan (Sept. 20)...made seven tackles at Murray State and six against UT Martin along with a pass defended...knocked down two passes in Tech's nationally televised victory at Southeast Missouri.
(In 2007): Corbin saw action in 10 games in 2007..finished the year with seven total tackles in limited playing time...had three tackles, his career-high, against Concordia.
