Tullahoma High School: A three-position player
out of Tullahoma High School, Hess earned three letters in baseball
while playing as a pitcher, outfielder and shortstop...earned
several awards including two all-district nods and one all-state
award...named the District Pitcher of the Year...finished his
senior seasons with .393 batting average, while hitting eight home
runs and driving in 41 RBI...on the mound, he posted an 8-1 record,
with a 1.91 ERA and 102 strikeouts. Hess was named to the National
Honor Society and graduated with honors.
