Kiss 98.5 FM fuels Tech fans at Smith County Purple Pride Caravan

CARTHAGE, Tenn. - Zack Ledbetter and Lee Wray of Kiss 98.5 FM were in full swing Thursday evening at Tennessee Tech's fourth Purple Pride Caravan of the year, engaging Golden Eagle fans and local residents of the Smith County area at the Carthage Walmart.

Well-known for their on-air talent, the two radio personalities kept the buzz of the 2013 Tech athletics seasons flowing in and around the Carthage Walmart, encouraging those in attendance to make Tech football a priority this coming fall.

Three lucky fans won drawings and received Tennessee Tech memorabilia, and one person qualified for the drawing to win a trip for two to the Tech-Wisconsin football game in the Golden Eagle Flyaway, sponsored by Kiss 98.5 FM.

After already making stops in Jamestown, Smithville, Cookeville, and now Carthage, the Purple Pride Caravan still has trips to Crossville, McMinnville, Livingston, Sparta, and another in Cookeville before wrapping up at the Algood Walmart on Aug. 27, just two days before the Golden Eagle season opener in Tucker Stadium on Aug. 29.
